Shell-Shocking First Look: ‘Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Opening Sequence Unveiled!

Today at SDCC, Nickelodeon and Paramount treated fans to the thrilling opening title sequence of the highly anticipated animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. While this sneak peek was an exclusive for the event, Collider brings this excitement to fans at home with an exclusive preview. Scored by the talented Matt Mahaffey (Karma’s World), the sequence perfectly captures the essence of the beloved TMNT universe. This electrifying spin-off series is set to premiere on August 9.

The opening sequence promises that the new series will honor its roots, emphasizing the teenage spirit of Donatello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael. The dynamic animation features doodle-filled notebook pages, clever twists like animated sound letters being used as weapons, a creative post-it montage hinting at the animation process, and even a random chicken for a dash of humor.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will unfold its epic story over 12 episodes, featuring the voices of Micah Abbey (Donatello), Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo), Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Brady Noon (Raphael), and Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) as April O’Neil.
